Unlike most retailers, we also guarantee the product selection advice offered through our catalog, website, and staff. If an item you have purchased based on this advice turns out to be unsuitable, you can bring it back. In either case, simply return the item for exchange, refund, repair, or credit.

Returns and exchanges can be made by mail. Please call our Service Center, if you wish to return or cancel an order placed online.
Within the US: Returned items must be sent via insured, prepaid Regular US Mail. Ensuring your return allows you to track your parcel with the US Postal Service.
Please Note: We cannot accept COD's or courier deliveries.
Outside the US: Please ship goods prepaid, by insured ground shipping. To avoid unnecessary delays, please write “U.S. Goods returning” on the outside of the package.
Please Note: Return item shipping costs is a buyer responsibility. Returns by USPS or other carrier without RA Number will be refused by Nick Of Time Media, Inc.
If you are requesting an exchange, please remember to include sufficient payment for the return postage. Where applicable, please contact your local customs office for information about any taxes or duties that may be assessed on a return shipment.
Please note: Our Processing Center cannot accept returns in person.
Basically, you return the item in the condition you receive it, preferably in its own box. When you click on return, it will give the condition and terms. Please respond to their questions which includes the reason for the return. They will return the amount of the book, but not the shipping and handling. They will also provide you with a return label to print out. It is really simple to return items.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of the date that you received your order. Books, DVDs and CDs (in their original, unopened, shrink-wrapped condition), toys and games, Home & Gift items, and electronics can be mailed with the original packing slip to:

If you used PayPal to complete your order and want a refund to your PayPal account you must call 1-800-THE-BOOK (843-2665) and get a return authorization number for credit back to your PayPal account.
If you don't have the packing slip or invoice, you can look up your Order Status and click the Check Status button next to the item. You will see the Shipping and Order Information, which you can use to contact us for return procedures.
